Haleakala crater

The view at the top of the mount Haleakala crater. Red and brown volcanic ash covers everything in view. Here at 10,000 even the mountain-top clouds hover just below our vantage point.

Changing domains, again.

I moved the photo blog back to the BlogSpot address today. It just seemed easier to control the layout here as publishing from Blogger to my own domain with FTP really limits my options. Still considering just starting over with a new blog and running Wordpress on my own domain. Any suggestions?

Life at 10,000 feet

Something fishy

Not an amazing photo but perhaps an amazing sight. A pool full of a thousand koi all scrambling to get close to the food bits thrown in by the tourists. Taken at the Dole pineapple farm in Hawaii.
